Team Relationship Inventory - A new method for measuring group development
Open Windows Team Relationship Inventory is invented by psychologist Olof Rehn. It is a new and a unique method for describing relations. The Inventory does not analyse the team members individually. It focuses and measures the relations in the team. It gives a measure on how well the team members know each other and also a measure of the openness in the group.
The inventory is answered individually. Each team member gets a link to his questionnaire.
The leader of the team building administers the inventory and feed back the results to the team members. The results are structured as Johari windows. The results describe all the relations in the team and are also accumulated on a group level.
To analyse the team with Open Window team analyse tool whether it is the board, the management team or the project team is an advisable and inspiring start for a team development project.
To make an new Inventory after the team building activity gives a valuable feedback about the effect of the team building. If the team members have increased their knowledge about each other and consequently the area of the Open Windows in the group is larger, then the teambuilding has been successful.
